I will be teaching a 5 day large scale painting workshop at Hacienda Mosaico, a beautiful beach resort in Puerto Vallarta. Each day will include various painting demos on techniques and engagement in the creative process.. most pronounced will be learning to see our work as it happens rather then seeing it before it happens.
Great food, good vibes, art, expression and the beach, sound great?

ART AND SOUL RADIO – INTERVIEW
just a quck note to let you all know ill be interviewed on art and soul radio today at 4pm pst.. heres the link should be fun!
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/art-and-soul-radio/2010/08/30/jesse-reno–when-i-cant-paint-i-usually-draw
Entirely self-taught, Reno decided early in his career to forego formal training, opting to develop his individualistic style through a prolific and exuberant output of creation. His materials range from acrylic paint and oil pastels to colored pencils laid primarily over wood panel and canvas. He generally works on five to ten canvases at once, apportioning equal time to each, in the interest of allowing the thematic content to germinate organically. Open as the artist is to the unfolding of subconscious content, his paintings emerge as pieces of a dreamlike mythic narrative. Reno has recently begun teaching his organic methods at art retreats, including Art & Soul Retreat this October, 2010 and next year.
Thank you to everyone who came out to watch and say hello, thank you to anyone who purchased art, thank you to everyone at Local35 for your support.
