Just got back from my 2 week workshop and solo show down in Puerto Vallarta. Had a great time, but it feels good to be back home in Portland. Wanted to share some images from Mexico, and a write up from the PV Mirror on my show at Galleria Dante.

This February my friend Orly Avineri will be releasing her second book “14 Artist Journals,” and I am one of the 14 contributing artists. 14 Artist Journals is a book featuring spreads from the journals of each contributing artist.

a description from Orly’s blog… “showcasing the art journals of fourteen spirited types. Fourteen exuberantly creative individuals I find to be super courageous about their lives, dismissive of creative blocks, and strongly flavorsome (-: among many other things.  These general characteristics of the contributors, mingled with mine, form idiosyncratic relations between us, connecting them to me and to each other in sweet and unusual ways. With this book, beyond my ever obvious mission to allure more to take on visual journaling practices, I hope to draw the attention to the importance of not only becoming a creative being but of creating special bonds with others in any way possible.
