Just got word from Michael of Montanaro Gallery that brand new limited edition reproductions of my piece Measuring and Collecting have been completed. They’re even printed on wood! Really nice job by all who worked on this project… I’m stoked! Please see the image below for a preview and be sure to check out this awesome page on Montanaro Gallery’s website which showcases the entire process of creating the prints.
“Measuring + Collecting” pushes the boundaries of mixed aesthetics, juxtaposing fine art, urban art, and low brow, and comparing the artworks of Jesse Reno, Randy Noborikawa, Mikey Welsh, Andrew Jacob, Justin ‘Skr!bner’ Pilotte, Clark Derbes, and Andrew Sloan with works by pop-surrealist and graffiti legend predecessors, Dave Kinsey, Doze Green, John ‘Crash’ Matos, Shepard Fairey, and Phil Frost, amongst others.
On display: February 12th – March 12th, 2010.
Opening reception: Friday, February 12th from 5:30 to 10:00pm
